Hysterics at Dogs ‘Pretending Not to Fight’ When Mom Catches Them in Act

Dogs act like children in more ways than one: begging for a snack, refusing bedtimes and arguing with each other. And, just like kids, canines can quickly pretend they are innocent to all the above and then some.
It’s frustrating for parents when their kids or pets act like sweet angels, but on the outside looking in, it’s hilarious.
Viewers of a recent TikTok video of dogs caught arguing couldn’t get enough of it. The clip, posted by user @beyond_the_wildnerness, has 616,000 views, 45,300 likes and 323 comments.

The owner started filming her three dogs as they were hanging out outside. Two of them weren’t seeing eye to eye. Then one grabbed the other’s leg, even though he snarled back. Meanwhile, the third dog stood at the top of the stairs, overseeing the fighting duo like a mediator.
His job was to make sure they wouldn’t get caught fighting, and he did an excellent job. He looked directly at the owner, with his tail wagging. However, the other two didn’t catch the warning in time. And as the caption says, they were “caught red handed.”
When they finally realized their owner was watching it all unfold, they quickly separated. They stayed as still as possible, keeping calm and hoping she hadn’t seen anything. One even placed his paws on another to appear more natural.

All six eyes were filled with nothing but innocence as they stared back at the owner. It was their way of telling her that she clearly misinterpreted the situation. They were all just minding their business.

“Homie in the back literally said, ‘Guys moms watching us STOP,'” commented one TikTok user.
A second wrote: “The crossed feetsies…that’s Oscar worthy.”
Another pointed out: “He stopped and crossed his paws but that one leg up in the air ready to kick his bro in the face if he starts again.”
Besides the hilarious actions of these dogs, people also couldn’t get over how adorable they were. One viewer wrote: “The fearsome teeth, followed by unbelievable cuteness.”
